The route map out of lockdown: Phase Two - what it means for current and new tenants
Lettings restrictions will be lifted from 29 June 2020.
Viewings
It is only possible to do viewings in vacant properites initially with social distancing and PPE. Virtual viewings will be continued as normal and best practice.
Inspections
Inspections on void properties will be carried out with social distancing & PPE.
Pre-tenancy inspections can be carried out with PPE.
Outgoing Inspections / inventory re-checks carried out 72 hours after the tenant vacates.
Lease signings
The following will procedures will continue:
Digital signing of leases;
Rent and deposit paid over the phone/bank transfer prior to collecting keys;
Keys to be collected from an agreed point/office.
