Carol Reid

Recently promoted to Housing Manager, Carol's role is varied and challenging.  It has included supporting staff through recent changes in the way they work and overseeing implementation of the Association's move to choice based lettings.  Carol has completed her Level 5 Diploma in Housing through the Chartered Institute of Housing which was funded by Grampian.

The process

As soon as the closing date for a position has passed, we will review all the applications received, draw up a shortlist of candidates for interview and issue invitations electronically. Applicants that have been unsuccessful at this stage will be notified.  Depending on the post, the interview process could take different forms and may include a practical assessment, presentation, psychometric test or a second interview.  If you are successful at interview, we will contact you with a verbal offer and to identify a start date. References will also be taken up at this point. Assuming all goes well, we will follow up with a formal offer letter and contract.  Grampian is committed to equality of opportunity and welcomes applications for employment from all members of the community. Employee Benefits Package

*Pension scheme - the Association provides a contributory money purchase occupational pension scheme.  In compliance with legal requirements employees who meet certain criteria will be automatically enrolled into the scheme after a period of service.  The employee may choose to opt out of the scheme.  The employee may join this scheme even if he/she does not meet auto enrolment requirements.  The employee may choose to contribute 5, 6 or more per cent of his/her basic pay.  Where the employee elects to contribute 5 per cent, the Association will contribute 10 per cent and where the employee elects to contribute 6 or more per cent, the Association will contribute 11 per cent. The employee may make additional voluntary contributions into the scheme in accordance with the rules of the scheme.  A contracting-out certificate under the Pension Schemes Act 1993 is not in force in respect of the scheme.
