Home ownership beyond your reach?

Our range of home ownership options could be right for you! Click on the links to the right for further information about a range of initiatives to help you get your foot on the property ladder.

Shared Ownership

Allows households on modest incomes to get a ‘foot on the property ladder’ by purchasing a 25% or 50% or 75% share in a property.  An ‘occupancy charge’ is made to cover the remaining share of the property.

New Supply Shared Equity scheme

Although there are no further NSSE schemes planned, vacancies arising through re-sales are advertised.  They are allocated based on criteria agreed with the local authority, the Scottish Government and the Association.

Open Market Shared Equity scheme

Grants are given to the Association to help applicants on a limited income part fund the price of a property on the open market.

Help to Buy (Scotland) Affordable New Build Scheme

A Scottish Government scheme helping first-time buyers and current owners purchase a new build home through a shared equity agreement.
