Tackling fuel poverty and driving energy efficiency: Grampian Housing Association’s 2025 progress
This year, Grampian Housing Association has taken significant strides to address rising energy costs and fuel poverty across our communities.
Tenants have been clear in their feedback that they want Grampian to prioritise energy saving measures. We’ve secured ECO4 funding to deliver Solar PV and insulation upgrades to 180 of our electrically heated homes, helping residents reduce energy bills significantly and improve comfort.
We’ve also successfully accessed support from the Scottish Government’s Social Housing Net Zero Heat Fund, enabling us to install clean, efficient heating systems in a further 48 homes in Peterhead.
Our commitment to sustainability and affordability remains at the heart of our work. By the end of 2026, we aim to achieve 100% EPC “C” ratings across our housing stock, ensuring every home is warm, energy-efficient, and affordable to heat.
Together, we’re building a greener, fairer future for our tenants.
