Eddie Innes

Eddie was brought up in Inverurie. Workwise, he spent 20 years in construction with a large developer, latterly heading up sales for their design and build function. In 1997 Eddie headed up his own construction and development company, carrying out small bespoke developments but also focussing on affordable housing and general contracting. Eddie is very passionate about football and was involved with Inverurie Loco Works FC for nearly 40 years. He contributed to getting the club into Scottish Highland Football League and was the club’s Chairman for 5 years until 2017. Eddie was also President of Scottish Highland Football League from 2009 to 2012 but his focus now is enjoying holidays and spending time with grandchildren and other family members.

 

Jim Cargill

Jim Cargill has been in the oil and gas industry for over forty years in a variety of operational and business development roles. This has primarily been with a number of offshore support base and marine service companies including ASCo, Wood Group Offshore, SBS Logistics (now Peterson), OIL Limited, Sea Oil Services, OSA do Brasil and Sea-Cargo.

Jim’s experience includes involvement in varous activities in the North Sea (UK and Norway), Brazil, Caspian Sea, Gulf of Mexico, Faroes and South East Asia. Currently Jim is Chief Executive of RGU spin-out company PlanSea Solutions Ltd and a director of Calibre International Ltd., a business consultancy.

Jan Gordon

Jan retired from Aberdeen City Council in October 2019 where she worked in various roles within local government for over 30 years. Latterly she worked within the Asset Management team and finally the Building Services team driving continuous improvement, quality management and training & development. This role was something she was passionate about and was further fuelled by her studies with Robert Gordon University, graduating with distinction in a Masters in Management in 2017.

Craig Stirrat

CCStirrat.jpgraig was promoted to the post of Grampian Group CEO in April 2022 following a robust recruitment process.  His appointment comes at in important time for the Group Group as it works to launch 'The Grampian Deal', a customer first initiative being developed in partnership with tenants to deliver great service, great results and great value for money.  

Craig is responsible for the overall strategic leadership and business direction of the Association and its objectives.  He joined Grampian Housing Association in June 2014 as director of business development before being appointed to the new post of Chief Operating Officer in 2018.

Craig is committed to support and enable colleagues to continually improve frontline services providing the best tenant and customer service experience and ensuring all homes are affordable and sustainable.

Craig’s housing career commenced as a student intern with Fountainbridge Housing Association in 1983, before attaining the position of trainee Housing Manager, followed by a position of Housing Manager with the former Kirkcaldy District Council.  Craig then moved to Aberdeen City Council in 1989 as Housing Manager and over the next 21 years progressed up the ranks to become the Head of Housing & Adult services, a position he held for 4 years.  Craig joined the Built Environment Scotland in 2010 as their national director before moving to Fife Housing Association as Director of Housing in 2012.

He is currently a Board member of HouseMark Scotland and is a former Chair of the Chartered Institute of Housing.  Craig also recently served as a Board member of Aberdeen Foyer, the Scottish Federation of Housing Associations and Muirhouse Housing Association..

Craig is a joint Honours Graduate in Sociology & Social Anthropology from the University of Stirling and holds a Postgraduate Diploma in Housing Studies from the University of Glasgow.  He also holds a MSc in Total Quality Management & Business Studies from Sheffield Hallam University.  Craig is a proud Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Housing.

 

Ross Watt

RWatt.jpgRoss is a solution-focused property professional, with significant experience primarily in facilitating repairs within multi-ownership residential properties. Over his career he has taken particular interest in promoting good maintenance principles with the tenement stock of Aberdeen and has been involved in focus groups with the Scottish Government on this subject.


Ross currently serves as a Director for one of Scotland’s largest property factors – Newton Property Management – and sits on the Board of the Property Managers Association Scotland. He holds accreditations from both the Institute of Residential Property Management and Propertymark, making him dual qualified in property factoring and residential leasing.


Ross joined the TLC Board because he was keen to put his industry knowledge to good use and view GHA and its subsidiaries as an essential component of the North East property industry and an entity he is keen to support.
