Oldmeldrum Health Centre is Kirkgate Developments non-housing development. It was built in partnership with NHS Grampian and Morrison Construction.

Kirkgate Developments was the successful bidder in a competitive tendering exercise in which interested parties were required to submit limited profit development on a design and build basis.

The high-tech £1.35 million health centre is providing easy access to the latest high quality primary care for the 7,000 patients of the Fyvie Oldmeldrum Medical Practice.

The modern purpose built facility also contains seven consulting rooms, treatment room, minor surgery room, physiotherapy and podiatry room as well as a multipurpose room for the community nurses, midwives and health visitors. For the first time, the practice has a purpose built room for training GP registrars and medical students.

Owned and operated by Kirkgate Developments the Health Centre is leased to NHS Grampian over a 30-year term. As a direct result of the close working relationship established between the parties, the project was completed to the highest standards within timescale and budget.
