Our Business Plan strategy is to improve and expand what we deliver. Our objectives are based on:-   

Growth and innovation

Put in place:-

  • a plan to enable us to continue to build new homes to meet housing needs
  • a new finance plan and work with lenders/funders to organise cash and borrowings to give us more capacity to invest in housing

Being efficient, competitive and maintaining high quality

  • Put in place an Asset Management Strategy to make best use of our housing and provide major repairs affordable to us to improve and maintain the quality of our homes
  • Develop our computer systems to enable easy access to our information and services for all who need them
  • Create a maintenance company to undertake major repairs and other services to customers

Working with others

  • Work in partnership with colleagues in health and social care to produce a housing service to meet specific housing needs
  • Deliver improved services to tenants to contribute to overall health and wellbeing
  • Launch "Our Power", a consortium of housing associations working together to address fuel poverty throughout Scotland by offering gas and electricity services and competitive fuel tarriffs

Helping staff do their best

  • Deliver business improvement through a learning & development/people management strategy to increase staff satisfaction
  • Review internal communications systems to make sure staff are well informed and involved in achieving our aims

Being a caring and listening landlord

  • Develop smarter operational service delivery with a "customer first" approach by continuing to take account of customer feedback as well as introducing mobile working and online services
  • Deliver a programme of service reviews across the Association with customer involvement
  • Resolve the open space maintenance issue in former Scottish Homes estates

Providing a range of housing options

  • Provide a Low Cost Home Ownership model to replace shared ownership (part-rent, part-buy) to meet the needs of people who would like to own their own home
  • Offer homes for mid-market (affordable) and market (private sector) rents to generate income for investment in new social housing for rent
