Home Ownership

home ownership beyond your reach?

our range of home ownership options could be right for you!

Our Shared Ownership option could enable you to part-buy and part-rent your home at a price you can afford.

If you would like to buy your own home but cannot afford to pay the full price for a property, LIFT (Low-cost Initiative for First-Time Buyers) could help.

Funded by the Scottish Government, two schemes are in operation which fall under the banner of LIFT:-

New Supply Shared Equity scheme

New build properties are advertised and allocated based on criteria agreed with the local authority, the Scottish Government and the Association.

Open Market Shared Equity scheme

Grants are given to the Association to help applicants on a limited income part fund the price of a property for sale on the open market.  Please note that application forms are not being issued for this scheme in 2010/2011.
